The much anticipated casting and auditions process for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn" is now underway in Los Angeles, Baton Rouge, and Vancouver - on the heels of the world premiere of “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse”, which took place in Los Angeles on Thursday, June 24th.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn will be released as two separate movies, Breaking Dawn Part I has a release date of November 18, 2011, and a possible summer 2012 release for Breaking Dawn Part II is being considered. Director Bill Condon will shoot the two films back to back.

Breaking Dawn II will be released in 3-D, however no decision has been announced about Part I. A 3-D film can be created in two ways. One is to process the film in post-production editing using CGI for 3-D effects. The other method is to shoot the film with special 3D cameras, such as the film Avatar was done using Sony HDC-F950 3-D cameras. It is not known which method Condon will use, but it is highly likely he will shoot using the special 3-D cameras since the effects are far superior.

Filming begins November 2010, and shooting will take place in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Vancouver, British Columbia. There is a very large amount of filming that takes place in Louisiana due to the large tax credits that the state offers the studios. Louisiana offers a 30% transferable incentive for total in-state expenditures related to the production of a motion picture. The budget on both parts of Breaking Dawn will be substantially greater than the previous installments in the series, therefore Summit Entertainment will benefit greatly by filming in Louisiana. Vancouver shooting will likely consist of locations required for a number of Breaking Dawn settings.

A very large number of people ignore the instructions given, and email casting directors, call their casting offices, and walk in off the street for unannounced personal drop offs. Please carefully follow the submission guidelines.

Story:

The 14th annual Hollywood Film Festival, presented by Starz, will run from October 20 to 25, 2010 at the state-of-the-art ArcLight Cinemas, in Hollywood. The Festival will be capped off by the annual prestigious Hollywood Awards Gala on October 25, 2010 which honors both annual and career achievements of Hollywood's emerging and established talents. The Hollywood Film Festival has become a pre-Oscar showcase.

If you are an aspiring actor then this is possibly one of the best opportunities in the entertainment industry to be discovered and become the next Hollywood Star. To be considered, you must submit a video acting audition that is 2-3 minutes in length, uploaded to the official site. It can be either a monologue or a two person scene, with only the contestant on camera and the other actor off camera. The material can be from a play, a film script, or an original scene.

Ten finalists, five male and five female finalists, will be chosen by by a blue-ribbon panel of casting directors from the prestigious Casting Society of America (CSA). Their audition videos will be posted on Yahoo! Movies, where the general public will be able to vote online for their favorite favorite actor and actress.

The two performers with the most votes from each gender will receive a Hollywood Discovery Award® at the prestigious 14th Annual Hollywood Awards® Gala, on October 25, 2010, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, in Beverly Hills, California. Round-trip air transportation to Los Angeles, plus hotel accommodations are also provided.

The Hollywood Awards® Gala ceremony itself is one of the most glittering nights in the film calendar and is known for launching the awards season. The Hollywood Discovery Awards® winners will have a unique opportunity to walk the red carpet and be recognized in a full room of major Hollywood players and stars.
